ProofSlate is the designated orchestration & governance partner for the IIT Kharagpur OCN.

Under formal agreements with IIT Kharagpur for the governance, orchestration, and deployment of the OCN, ProofSlate is responsible for the operational layer of the Outreach Course Network — partner acquisition, onboarding, compliance, settlement, credentialing workflows, digital infrastructure, and brand governance. Academic authority, curriculum design, evaluation, and certification rest entirely with IIT Kharagpur and its departments, coordinated through the Office of the Dean (Outreach) and the Continuing Education Programme.

NEP 2020, the Academic Bank of Credits, and the NCrF made credit mobility legally possible. But policy enablement alone does not move courses from a premier institute to a partner campus. The gap is operational.

How is IIT Kharagpur's brand protected?
Brand governance is central to ProofSlate's mandate. The Institute's name and marks are used solely within the scope of OCN programmes, under licence and the Institute's brand guidelines, and never to imply endorsement of a partner's own programmes.
